Data collection:

The German Institute for Human Rights conducted its own qualitative studies for certain parts of the report. In addition, publicly available data, statistics, documents and studies including, but not limited to, printed records of the Bundestag and all 16 parliaments of Germany’s federal states were analysed. Moreover, using a questionnaire, the institute has collected data from the governments of Germany's federal states.
